Baroque in the Bush 2019

Baroque in the Bush

Baroque in the Bush is a sublime three days of Baroque concerts at Shingwedzi in the Kruger Park, with 16 musicians under the direction of South Africa’s favourite maestro Dr Richard Cock. 2019 will be our 25th year.

Shingwedzi is the perfect venue – it accommodates the optimal number of people, and has a large thatched veranda which serves as our concert hall, looking out over the Shingwedzi River bed.

September is sublime in Kruger – the days are warm enough for an afternoon laze by the pool, the evenings are crisp and star-studded, the trees are budding, and sometimes we’re lucky enough to get a rainstorm. All in all, a unique way to experience the beauty of the African bush.
